Our Mungari Gold Operations are a cornerstone asset located 28km west from central Kalgoorlie, Western Australia (WA) and 600km east of Perth. Mungari has a predominantly residential workforce, with many living in Kalgoorlie Boulder, giving employees the luxury of coming home every day.
Last year we announced our expansion project, a $250m investment to expand our processing mill. This investment will extend Mungari’s mine life to 15 years and double annual production to over 200,000 ounces per year post commissioning. It’s an exciting time to join the Mungari Operations!
About the role
Reporting to the Manager Underground Mining, we are looking to appoint a Mining Superintendent to provide leadership to our underground team and to take the lead on all activities relating to mine production. Key result areas include:

As the Underground Superintendent you will have extensive experience working in an underground production environment and will have demonstrated how you have successfully led teams to safely deliver to plan. It is anticipated that you hold a current WA Underground Supervisor’s Certificate and associated competencies under the new legislation. You will also be able to demonstrate the following:
