Job Details

• Seeking experienced paramedic for flight EMS service in rural Alaska.
• Air ambulance serves 15 bush communities in western Alaska within 20 to 45 minutes from Nome in fixed wing transport.
• Includes transport to Anchorage for higher level of care as needed.
• Job requirements include village transportation via small ATV, snow machine, and other off road vehicles possibly in extreme weather conditions.
• Travel in small aircraft either fixed wing and possibly rotor.
• Must have experience in emergency airway management and trauma care.

• Experience with travel in small aircraft, both fixed wing and potentially rotor.

Additional Details

• ALL TRAVELERS ARE REQUIRED TO SHOW PROOF OF COMPLETED COVID VACCINATIONS PLUS BOOSTER.
• FLU VACCINES ARE ALSO REQUIRED AND EXEMPTIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
• Proof of vaccination must include the vaccine type, lot number, expiration date, date, and site administered.
• Documentation must clearly display the full name of the employee.
• In case of name changes (married, etc.), this must be indicated in the vaccination documentation.
• Alternatively, titers from a diagnostic lab indicating the appropriate level of immunity can be submitted but must not be more than 10 years old.
