Compass Healthcare Consulting & Placement is conducting a search for an RN Educator / Clinical Manager for a Private Pay Home Care Agency servicing New Jersey. Qualified candidates will have an active NJ RN or NP License with 2-5 years of Clinical Nursing Experience within Hospital, ER, Acute Care, Hospice or Home Health Care environments. They will have prior Supervisory or Manager level experience overseeing other Clinical Staff. They will have the ability to oversee RN Education and training of new Registered Nursing Staff.

The RN Educator / Clinical Manager will develop, implement, and evaluate orientation, competency, and in-service education programs for Home Care RN Case Managers. They will also act as the Clinical Lead overseeing all Home Care RN Case Managers including scheduling, care plans, clinical training and documentation. Position requires travel and management of a small caseload.

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute clinical orientation, competency, and in-service education programs.
• Identify annual competence skills and provide necessary in-service training support.
• Conduct orientation for new clinical personnel
• Act as a clinical resource on standards, policies, regulations, and provide necessary training.
• Maintain updated nursing knowledge and skills per best practices.
• Developing and maintaining patient specific care plans and ensuring these plans are followed and to provide for the patient's ongoing needs for private pay concierge level home care
• Ensures the quality of patient care
• Develops care plans
• Obtains the necessary physician orders for the home care cases as required by State regulations
• Ensures that changes in the patient's medical or mental condition are reported to the attending physician and to the Agency employees involved in the patient's care
• Supervises and supports the home care team
• Striving to improve the lives and sustainability of our clients by supporting their autonomy in the home environment

Qualifications:

• Current NJ RN or NP license in good standing
• BSN, MSN preferred
• Minimum (2) two year recent clinical experience within a Home Care setting
• Strong assessment and organizational skills
• Prior supervisory experience with field staff
• Demonstrated successful track record of working independently

Competitive Salary $130,000 - $140,000 plus excellent Benefits!
