The Spanish bi-lingual Health Promoter is an outreach specialist who will speak with participants, most often on an individual basis who are targeted for group self-management programs, to answer questions and provide information on their individualized care coordination.
The Health Promoter works collaboratively with UNITE HERE HEALTH (Fund) nurses and health center staff, contracted UM/CM partners, and community healthcare practitioners to facilitate communication and coordinate care to improve health outcomes of the participants. The Health Promoter will also work with participant leaders to expand participation in and knowledge of Fund programs and benefits.
The role is hybrid. Each week, the Health Promoter will work several days “in office” (a variety of physical buildings in the Boston area) to be able to work with participants through face-to-face interactions. Additionally, they will work a few days’ work-from-home, where Health Promoters will be conducting research and be on telephonic follow up calls with participants.

Salary range for this position: Salary $63,400 - $79,300. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to: relevant experience, qualifications, expertise, certifications, licenses, education or equivalent work experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
Work Schedule (may vary to meet business needs): Monday~Friday, 7.5 hours per day (37.5 hours per week) with potential for hybrid work-from-home arrangement.
