Salary: $130,000 - $180,000 per year

Job Details Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, monitor, coordinate and administer the work on construction projects from the planning/budget phase through the completion of construction.
- Review project planning guides prior to the budget phase from an architectural, program, scope and cost standpoint.
- Direct the preparation of cost estimates, surveys, environmental impact reports, preliminary plans, working drawings and other documents.
- Review drawings and specifications for conformance to the authorized scope
- Representative in the selection of consultants, fee negotiations, and administration of contracts for architectural and engineering services.
- Identify and take appropriate corrective action for any issues that affect environmental documents.
- Are responsible for establishing the project schedule, gaining approval, and monitoring schedule performance; and schedule post-contract items prior to the expiration of the guarantee/ warranty periods.
- Make policy recommendations to management on sensitive project issues; assist in obtaining approval of changes in the scope of a project; work with local bodies to resolve budgetary issues associated with changes in the scope of a project; assist in establishing project priorities
- Materials, methods, and processes required in the construction of wood, steel frame, masonry and concrete buildings;
- Materials, methods, and processes required in the construction of civil grading, paving, concrete, underground, landscaping; plumbing, heating and ventilating, and electrical work
- Work of the various building trades;
- Various codes and safety orders applicable to building construction;
- Construction contracting practices, including estimating, division of work, scheduling and organizing construction work; and principles of effective supervision.
- Read and understand construction plans and specifications;
- Develop and prepare bid documents and detailed scopes of work;
- Calculate material quantities;
- Direct the work of others;
- Prepare clear and comprehensive reports and correspondence;
- Read and prepare construction schedules using Microsoft Project and/or Primavera.
Qualifications:
- 5 or more years as Project Manager in commercial or industrial construction
- Bachelors in relevant field of study preferred but work experience will be considered
