Title: Behavioral Health Counselor Clinical Supervisor: LMHP Administrative Supervisor: Administrator ESSENTIAL DUTIES - Provide direct care to clients or families who are assigned to a caseload under clinical supervision of a Clinical Supervisor;
- Provide CPST services to assigned clients in accordance to the treatment plan;
- Attend and participate in treatment planning activities and discharge planning;
- Function as the clients advocate in all treatment decisions affecting the client; and
- Assist in treatment plan updates and progress summaries associated with the clients treatment;
- Provides appropriate interventions as part of the prescribed treatment
- Attends patient treatment team meetings for assigned caseload;
- Collects data/information and relates findings to necessary agency staff
- Complete accurate progress summaries for individuals on caseload
- Assists in discharge planning
Administrative duties Prepare and write accurate progress notes or other documents related to services provided to the client, submit weekly paperwork prior to clinical supervision
Attend trainings and meetings as required
LEVEL OF EDUCATION/TRAINING/QUALIFICATIONS - Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Sociology or Psychology and must be provisionally licensed under a state board. Must have PLPC, PLMFT, CSW or LMSW.
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule, with minimal direct supervision.
- Must have excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to communicate orally and verbally
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines for data entry
- Abide by agencys policies and procedures (confidentiality, incident reporting, FWA, code of ethics, non-discrimination)
- Must possess a valid driver license
- Ability to obtain CPR certification within 45 days if position is offered
TRAINING Bi- Monthly supervision WORKING CONDITIONS The Behavioral Health Therapist usually work in a community-based environment. Travel to homes will be required. Telehealth is an approved method of service delivery
Job Type: Contract; 1099, guaranteed at least 20/32 hours per week
Pay/Compensation- Part-time 20 hours per week, Full-time 32 hours per week *When minimum hours are not met, hourly rate will be used to calculate payment (Timesheet will be generated using the progress note entries in the E.H.R) Performance Measures- Reviewed every 365 Required hours per week is at least 20/32 contact hours
Enter progress notes without error and within timeframe
On time for scheduled supervision
Submit supervision paperwork at least 24 hours prior to supervision
Provide services to assigned clients
Effectively manage flexible schedule
Able to manage caseload
Adhere to agency policies and procedures
This is a remote position.
